Adaptable Lighting Solutions

1 STOP Lighting & Grip provides built in adaptability with its' lighting balloons, enabling production to get the most out their balloon lighting needs. 
1 STOP's lighting accessories enable lighting to be quickly & easily be adapted in minutes providing a pure Tungsten, HMI, Sodium Vapor, Mercury Vapor or Metal Halide source - to almost any hybrid combination of lighting mentioned, all flicker free and dimmable. 

SLIM Light

The SLIM Light is a low profile source with a large 9.2' x 9.2' face providing an evenly diffused spread of light, yet with a lean 3.75’ depth that provides lift with the use of 1 helium cyl. 

The “SLIM Light” works as a tabletop of light  to a wall of light with 5.2K & 6.6K Tungsten sources (220V is required) and is easily controlled with stand alone dimmer & skirts.
We've recently added our:
- 4575 Hybrid (1x575W HMI with 4 x 1K Tungsten)
- 1150W HMI (2 x 575W HMI lamps)
We are developing an LED source for this as well as for some of our other lights as well.   

Air Filled Lighting Balloons

Air Filled balloons provide a significant cost savings when mounted to condors, suspended by a crane or hoisted into stage perms. Units are quickly inflated with leaf blowers and maintained with the use of trickle pumps.  

All balloons are able to be air filled…to a point, that point is the power and output of the lighting as it relates to heat being generated vs. the balloons internal volume of space which may require helium’s cooling properties from a partial to full helium fill. Please consult with our staff regarding the safety and cost saving measures.

Internal Gel Kits

1 STOP had a request early on from Gaffer Dayton Nietert to provide a way of gelling at the light source within the lighting balloon, for use on "THE BRIDGE" - this led to the development of our Internal Gel Kit. 
The Internal Gel Kit and the use of Steel Blue Gel for "The Bridge" generated immediate results: 
  • huge cost savings not having to gel the outside of the balloon 
  • better output by gelling at the light source with less loss of light compared to gelling to the outside of the balloon
  • helium environment within the balloon extended the use of the same gel several times over without any color blanching
  • 2nd USE Helium Fills allow provided additional savings to production.
Dayton and Director of Photography, Attilla Szalay (ASC, CSC, HSC) were pleased with the outcome of this unit and put this to work in nearly every episode of "THE BRIDGE". Since that time we've applied our Internal Gel Kit into our LARGE STAR & MEDIUM and LARGE Elliptical's and Tubes.
